Kitty BITE Back Series Episode 17: Don't threaten me with a bad time, liMes... why would I trust u??

Hey jellies!! I hope we are traveling cross country and having a blast! Anywhooo, THIS IS HOW WE DOOOOOOOO IT! It's Friday night! Nah, I don't know what day it is actually lol but that is how the song goes lol

So let's dive right into it. The15th component of Behavior Control under the BITE model as described by SAH is, "threaten harm to family and friends". This may seem strange; as, no logical person would threaten harm to family and friends outside of a group you're in; however, this did happen in the cult that I was in.

STORY TIME!

• So just how did the cult leader threaten harm to family and friends that weren't pat of the group? The main way was to describe, in GREAT detail, how they would spend eternity if the members didn't win them over to the group. The cult leader would read passages from Revelations of the bible and then embellish and "interpret" what would happen to family members and friends if they weren't won over. The cult leader would describe, in detail, how the smell of rotten flesh would never subside as your skin and muscle would slowly burn and melt off your body until all that was left was charred bone. He would yell and scream; saying that it was our responsibility to "win them over to christ"; whatever the means.. I have had this personally said to me during services about my mom's mom, who lived with us; my Nanny. My mom would be made to feel like absolute garbage because she didn't "win her mother over to christ". Just the elaborately detailed descriptions of what "will happen" to my friends' and family's bodies if I don't do my cultly duty of bringing them in as new members. It was honestly terrifying. Imagine being 12 years old and being yelled at about how your Nanny is going to have her flesh slough off her body in sheets when she burns for eternity. Imagine the smell of your Nanny's rotting flesh being described to you in detail at 12 years old. It's fucking traumatizing.

Do you or someone you know have friends or family members whose lives (current or "eternal") are being threatened?? If so, this is another situation where you need to skip straight to calling the police. Once again; these fuckers deserve to be in jail.
